Houston-Get Off That Roof

That Houston Dale Nutt is a lightning rod should come as no surprise. I now know that if you want to get a comment on something, just throw in ol HDN and there you are. As an example, if I said HDN is advocating we build a Trauma Network, here's what I'd get--"that #!*% Houston Nutt, he don't know nuthin bout no trauma center. He just needs to keep his mouth shut, cause all he's gonna do is run off the doctors we recruit to run the thing." Now if I were to say Houston is on the record being against it, here's what I'd see--"that's just like that lyin, text messagin, no play callin, sorry excuse for a major college football coach. Everytime we try and take a step up, he just can't stand it and wants to pull us back. It's ain't nuthin but Gus all over again." So my advice to Houston is-better let somebody else give the touchdown signal during a storm. (Of course that's assuming we score a touchdown.)

The reason Nutt is a lighting rod is because he is incompetent and a terrible liar. He will screw the pooch this year and putting your lips on his backside won't help a bit. By the way why blog with your comments on if you don't ever allow comments?

David,
I understand your point. However, I don't understand you portraying people that apparently disagree with you as uneducated callous individuals that will swear at the drop of a HDN reference. Aren't these the people that put you in office? Ken (see above post) and his friends might take offense.

Ken, I thank you for the comment. I also appreciate you making my point regarding HDN. In answer to your question, I try to post all comments when I get to them.

ST, You may be right. I actually changed the text on that a couple of times debating how to phrase an over the top reaction. My commentary regarding Houston should be considered tongue in cheek. Unfortunately that is not the case sometimes. I would also hope nobody votes according to what someone thinks about a football coach. But you never know, so I will apologize to those offended. I still thought it was funny though.
