Sad Day

The death of a Hope soldier brings a sober reminder that the war on terror still rages. Army Sergeant, Carlo Montel Robinson, was killed Saturday by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan He graduated from Hope High School in 1993 and was a former Hope Bobcat football player. His mother, Jennifer Robinson, still resides in Hope. Our heartfelt prayers go out to the loved ones left behind, and our sincere gratitude for Sergeant Robinson's heroism and bravery in his ultimate sacrifice for our country.
